department store

I wondered why yesterday I referred to this department store as a she... perhaps it's her curves and style.

hey shanti,

i really like the curves, patterns and angles of this shot. i think that the curves of the building are highlighted by the way the road curves. i think that you could even pull off a tighter crop on the department store, giving it a more abstract look. lastly, i think that the conversion to mono works really well, especially with the use of light and shadows.
Shanti: thanks, nicole. not sure what you mean when you indicate "more abstract look" but i did try a crop from the right a bit, which i also like. thanks for your feedback.

lonesome photographer shooting at uraniastrasse. classy. very zurich pic. the building reminds me of star trek... if i understood well, nicole's suggestion is to isolate the main architecture from the right. i think the result could be very interesting, especially if toning (i.e. blue) is applied.
Shanti: hi jc, thanks for your feedback. perhaps you meant lone photographer? cuz i never felt lonesome with my camera at hand...
